PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are entering into a payment agreement with Compass Qualifications Limited and are agreeing to make payments when they become due depending on the payment method selected. The agreement starts when the first payment is made to Compass Qualifications Limited for the qualification procured. Payment methods explained: 50% upon enrolment/50% upon completion: Depending upon the NVQ you intend to complete depends on the amount that is due however you are agreeing to pay the total sum including VAT.  Once an induction date is agreed an invoice will be sent by the for 50% of the total cost which is payable before or at your induction.   If enrolment is cancelled within 14 days up to £475 is refundable, depending upon management discretion.  Upon confirmation by the Assessor that the qualification is completed, the invoice is emailed for the remaining 50%. This is payable within 7 days and before final internal quality assurance checks and subsequent claim for the certificate. Payment Plan: Depending upon the NVQ you intend to complete depends on the amount that is due however you are agreeing to pay the total sum including vat. 1st Instalment:  Due upon enrolment and payable before or at induction.  This is non refundable. 2nd Instalment: An invoice is emailed approximately 30 days after induction which is payable within 7 days.  Upon receipt of payment an Assessor is allocated. 3rd Instalment: An invoice is emailed approximately 60 days after induction which is payable within 7 days. 4th Instalment: Upon confirmation by the Assessor that the qualification is completed, the invoice is emailed for the remaining amount. This is payable within 7 days and before final internal quality assurance checks and subsequent claim for the certificate. If payment is not received by the due date Compass reserve the right to commence de-registration process. Interest will be charged on overdue accounts. ASSESSMENT PROCESS This is an ongoing activity. Compass Qualifications will provide the service dependent on the progress of the learner and their individual needs. If the candidate feels that they need to take a break from the qualification due to reasons beyond their control Compass Qualifications will negotiate additional time depending on individual needs Compass Qualifications will provide the learner with ongoing support and advice throughout the assessment process and duration of the contract. This includes email communication, telephone support and face to face meetings with members of the assessment team. Qualifications should be completed and all assessments submitted with three years of the start date as stated by the relevant awarding body. DISTANCES Compass Qualifications currently cover mainland England, Scotland and Wales. If your location is outside of these areas please note that there may be additional travelling expenses incurred if outside of these areas. CANCELATION POLICY Every effort will be made to support each candidate to enable them to continue with the qualification. If a written request is received to terminate the enrolment, de-registration with the awarding body will begin.  As payments are staged no refunds will be allowable, outside of those detailed above. DATA PROTECTION All reasonable measure will be taken to ensure your data is secure. We will not hold data any longer than necessary to deliver our services and it will not be disclosed to any third party. Any information disclosed to us will only be collected, stored and processed in accordance with the requirements of the qualification and relevant awarding body. LEARNER CONTRACT The learner agrees to complete their qualification within the maximum allowable period of three years. If any circumstances arise that may affect this they should inform their assessor as soon as reasonably possible. The learner agrees to keep in regular contact with their assessor.   If no contact is made within six months Compass reserve the right to commence de-registration process and are not liable for any effects upon learners industry card scheme.  If no progress is made within 12 months, Compass reserve the right to commence de-registration process. Compass operate a zero tolerance policy of abuse to staff, physical or verbal, and reserve the right to seek legal advice and commence de-registration process where deemed appropriate to protect the well being of staff. LIABILITY Compass Qualifications Limited do not accept responsibility for the following: Damage to property (including personal IT equipment and vehicles) unless it is proven to be caused by the negligence of Compass Qualifications staff. Return of hard copy work submitted for assessment Direct, indirect and consequential losses however arising Loss of opportunity and loss of income or profit, however arising.
